Rockford fosgate 300w (40w rms x4) amp - what's it worth?

Unfortunately, the seller does not have pictures or a model number.

But he says it's a rockford fosgate 300w max/40w rms x4 amp.

This is just about perfect for my needs, and I love how it will match my RF sub amp.

I was wondering what it's worth and if anyone had any clue to what model/series it would be.

He says he will take $40 cash, and that seems pretty fair. Of coarse I am going to test each channel first as well as seeing if it powers all 4 speakers fine.

Bring lots of $5's and bargain with him if you don't think its worth 40, hell even if you do, throw some pics up after you install it, what is it going to be powering

Ok so it's a Rockford Fosgate punch 4080dsm with no end caps.
1. what is that worth minimum/max in 100% working order.
2. Is $40 for the amp plus a sealed 10" Q-logic box a good deal?
The amp sounds just as clean and clear and under control (lol) as my sony xm-4045, but now I will have 4 channels ;)

You got the amp and the box for $40? Ya that's an OK deal.
That amp was made around the early/mid 90's or so. I had the smaller version of it it (4040).

the only thing I hated about them was the crossovers were controlled by these 'cards', not really adjustable unless you bought another card ( I think you could make your own, using resistors, but I might be thinking of something else).

It says "all the crossover cards in this amp have been factory installed in the "FULL RANGE" configuration. They can be reconfigured to produce a 100Hz LOW PASS or HIGH PASS according to the following instructions"
Apparently, the LP and HP are on one card
Just pulled the front speaker card out, and it's the LP/HP (HP was active)
So I guess I lucked out!
Is it worth more with these cards?

Those are the default cards it came with.
what I meant was, those are your only options for tuning. You really can't adjust it more than those preset frequencies.
