Kenwood DDX9703S splash screen

Just installed new head unit in sons car. Everything works great however, updated opening splash screen and a line of distortion plays across the screen before the new uploaded bitmap. Any ideas how to correct the issue. Thanks.

I'm thinking about buying this android unit but would like to know if you managed to fix it.
