Whats a good car for car audio
I was just wondering what kind of car would be good for putting a system in. Somthing with stock 6 1/2s up front or components stock (newer cars have em), somthing with good cabin gain, decent gas mileage and power.
I heard sunfires and hondas have good cabin gain, but i dunno if either have 6 1/2s.

Kiki is right the CRX was a good little car for stereo installs. The newer Accords work well too. The doors are deep enough to install a nice component set, and there is a great spot in the kicks for the tweeter installs. The sub install can be a little tricky, but if you get it right it will sound amazing. If you have a 4 door you can fire the sub thru the back seat were the armrest drops down, or just fold the seats down. The coupe is a little trickier. You can fire it thru the back deck, but you have to move the seat latch release (its easy to replace with an electric solenoid), and the center seat belt, or you can just drop the seat.

Depends on what you consider "decent" gas mileage, too. The older 5.0 Mustangs and F bodies aren't quite as small and don't quite have the gain of a CRX, but still offer great results. The 5.0s could get around 24-25 on a steady highway run, the F bodies were about the same (305 models), 350 models sucked a little more gas.

I agree with the crx... My friend had one and it got good gas milage and was pretty reliable...
