Is it possible to use regualar home stereo system speakers in your car with car stereo system?

The thing with a lot of home audio is that they are 6 ohm and most car audio speakers are 4 ohms, so they may not get full power since most amps are stable to 4 ohms or lower.

Just like you would any car stereo speaker...a speakers a speaker, though some may not be Ideal for in car use.

Yes, you could do it. But i think most home audio speakers are 6 ohm (you should be able to look on the back of the speaker and find out). If in fact they are 6 ohm, they just wont be getting full power from a standard car audio amplifier or head unit.

But in short, YES it can be done.

You have to be careful with what you use. Car audio speakers use different glues, cone composites/treatings, and are designed for different enclosure types than home audio speakers. I'd recommend you look into Morel drivers for car audio, most of their raw drivers are pretty car friendly. The bigger ones to be careful with are paper coned drivers, since paper cones absorb moisture and that changes the way the driver performs. You're safest with metal, polyprophylene, and other cone materials that don't absorb moisture.

The 4 ohm vs 6/8 ohm argument isn't as critical since an 8 ohm driver will typically be more efficient (with a watt, not with a given voltage level) than a 4 ohm driver due to the higher inductance. The 4 ohm will typically be a bit louder in the end, but not by enough to make a large difference, plus your amplifier will not be as stressed when running a higher impedance load.

It's a girl, ya :) lol, you could use them yes, but like everyone said, in the long run they will fall apart because they are not treated to handle the outside environment.
And they are 6-8 ohms, so the power will be low. If you want new speakers, just look into real cheap car audio ones, they will do tons better then any home audio ones.
