Uhh,does this happen to anyone else during the winter? I usually take the subs and amp out of my trunk for the winter and store them inside because that frost looks like it could do some harm. I was just wondering if it does any damage to the subwoofers if they get frosted over like this.

OK I'm going to help you out here some, don't be offended by this.

Is that black wire I see on the right your ground wire? If it is, it is way too long. Ground wires should be kept as short as possible, under 12" is best. I also notice that it is going up the side of your trunk. Where is this grounded to? If it is grounded anywhere besides the trunk floor, you probably aren't getting the best ground possible. Shorten that wire, and ground it to your trunk floor, scraping away all the paint around the ground spot.

Also, I wouldn't play your subwoofers with frost on them. The liquid alone could do damage, plus the additional weight of the frost could screw them up.

I also see you only have two of the RCA inputs hooked up. Get some Y cables and hook them all up.

Thanks for the assurance guys as well as the advice. I'll get to it as soon as exams are done with. My car is old and the the trunk is really rusty so that is probably why the moisture gets in. By the way, I had the ground wire attacted to a bolt on the trunk hinge.

Yea, that won't work as a ground.
