Most likey none of them. If they are not tuned to your liking, and not built to the specs of the type-s they wont sound very good

Justin from Detroit is close!

You should check with him on box pricing! Plus you can save a ton on shipping and pick it up from him.

Problem with many "net" or E Bay boxes is you just dont know how they are built. Are they screwed/glued? Or nails or staples or just glued???? You want srews and you want them spaced 4-5" apart...

Wood is also another factor. Particle Board is fine for low powered subs with small (I MEAN SMALL) box sizes/panels. Otherwise MDF or HDF should be used.

You want a box tailored to your vehicle, your subs and your needs. Not just what Joe Schmoe has in his spare room and will tell you "It will sound awesome!"

:bigwink:

Now prices... Probably run you 150-180 range shipped...

your best bet is to do a ported box tuned low around 32-34hz that will give you a good mix of both

Im going to disagree with Bill here.

If you want it to sound good and be accurate you want sealed.

If you want it to sound fairly good and be much louder you want ported.

Now when you say hit Im thinking you want accuracy.

If you go ported its almost like adding 1 more sub... But it comes at a cost of SQ.
