Tempest...problems.. i want to cry.

ok so.. im uptown showing off the Tempest... and how loud it is.. it seems to take the power totally fine.. Nothing is over half way up.. actually everything is barely turned up..
the input level is at 4v, the LPF is at 32hz or a Little above, and the bass boost is barely past 0.. and all the "bass" settings on the HU are -0 or below.. anyway this has nothing to do with the problem.. so anyway onto The Problem... i was uptown and a piece of speaker wire came off somehow and well i didnt know what it was at the time til i took it off, but anyway i was tryin to put the sub back in and i was hookin up and the bass started to play again when i hooked it back up and i heard a noise comin from the cone.. so i move the speaker wire around where it connects to the sub and it stops.. i let go and it starts.. i hold it in a certain position and it stops..so and so forth.. so i get annoyed and put it in the position so it wont make the noise and look on the other side to make sure its ok and i get ready to put it in and i see a spark coming from the other side of the sub.. ok i freak out and check it out and well that black thing where the tinsel leads connect, one side is almost broke somehow, i guess it happend when i tried to put the sub back in, anywya can i just glue it back together? i have left over gorilla glue i used to seal the box up, will that work? could i make some sort of brace? like using a toothpick or something? im sure a picture of the Actual sub and crap would work better but i forgot too and dont feel like taking it back out at the moment. but here is a quick pic of the sub, but not when its broke.. but that black piece where the tinsel leads are connected as i said, one of em has almost broke off..
