a friend of mine is lookin for new components.. that handle 100rms... well i directed him to two sets of CDT components.. the first set has been a huge hit for the price, and the second set im not sure about:

now both have free ground shipping which is killer and the first has free dynamat anyway which set it better? and please mention other sets for less than $150. thanks.!

It's a little more than $150, but Peerless Definitions are $188 on madisound.

I will say that I haven't heard them as a component system, but I have heard most of the Peerless CD and CSC-X autosound drivers and they're excellent for the money spent. Smooth, laid back sound in midrange, good midbass. Peerless has always been big on value. I'd bet they'd walk on the CDTs.

I tested the Peerless speakers when i was using a Madisound wholesale account and I donlt believe they're the same speakers from individual driver to component set. The individual drivers from last time I used them were better than the component set. I would say they're a good performing set but they wouldn't walk over a set of CDTs.

go with the first one, and then send me the dynamat because I helped you pick out the right comp set for you

o good gracious man, i didn't even click on the links for the speakers, but DON'T get any of those. I would spend a little more and get the Peerless for sure or look into other CDT comp set. The 61A have a small tweet and the crossover is not the better ones from CDT. Check your PMs.
