im looking to get either the kar 10 or 12. id prefer the 10, but the amp im getting puts out 284wrms and the 10 is only 200 wrms. would 84 watts over be too much? or would it be better to get the 12 that is 250wrms? Also would the 12 be as accurate as the 10? last thing, are there any other subs around 100$ comparable in sq to the kar's.

i'm sure 84watts won't hurt it as long as your careful.. hell, proably if your not.

what amp is it excatly?
you could probably be fine with feeding them 280ish.
or you could just buy the ones high society is selling. i own the exact pair, and they are quite wonderful indeed!

alright, are there any other low watt sq subs(single 4 or dual 2 ohm) around 100$ comparable to the kar's, because im going to have a hard time finding an arc dealer around here since justin is closed.

hmmmm, well it looks like the incriminator is the only option out of those for me. How do the 187's match up with the kar's sq wise?

well since they are both entry level subs, most likely they should be on the same level. But I would go to say 187>SPL, Kar>SQ, knowing arc audio thats what I would come to assume. As for me I'm not to big for SQ, so I would go with the 187's and get louder. But it's really up to you. I'm sure you could get the arc sub loud with a ported box.
