If you guys can help please tell me what I can do to fix this problem..

Ok First I have a Nissian 200sx, its a small 2 door car.I have 2 Ma audio subs 700 max each, and a legecy amp 1600 max power...Now My friend hooked all this up, he works at best buy so I he knows what hes doing. The Car was running fine then I hooked my cd player up and like a week later, my battery had a dead cell..Then my Alternator was through..So I went to the auto parts store and got a new Battery and Alternator, hooked my amp and subs up 1 day latter same thing happened. Then I went back agian got new battery and altenator(warrenty)...But didnt hook the amp and subs back up and the car was been running great for like 2 months...Everybody keeps saying the amp is frying the battery, well if it is how can i fix this???

Please help if you can tell me whats wrong with my stuff, cause i really wanna play it..

Well, I'm sure your friend knows what he is doin so I'm not going to bad mouth him. But the equipment you have is not the greatest. Get rid of it and invest into something good. You could have just got unlucky in what happen with your Alt and batt. What kinda car you drive? That legacy amp isn't puishin any where near 1600 watts. More into the 400 or so. Sell the stuff and save up for something good.

I dont believe its the amp, it sounds like the wiring. I suggest making a new friend.

To be honest MA isn't the most reputible brand, but I have no personal experience with their products. Sure there are other subs that will outperform those, but if you like them then it doesn't matter too much.

There are a ton of subs that people on here can suggest for you, it just depends on your budget and what you are looking for in terms of sound and performance. Legacy is pretty bad as far as quality is concerned, and you may run into some problems in the future becauase they are cheaply built.
