My friend has a jeep Cherokee and wants to put some subs in under the seats because the way they fold they have a pretty big opening under them. But obvioulsy no opening is big enough for a standered size box.
i was looking at the thing sub and came across these by blaupunkt

any one know anything about these, would they hit like a normal sub? are they still strong?

I second the Illusion recommendation. If you can find an older Illusion ND-10 or ND-12 (pre Indian manufacture), snatch it up. An alternative would be this Aurasound 8 incher:

Earthquake has a thin mount sub also. It has pretty impressive specs...
I think the price tag is a bit astronomical, but Im sure it will perform!
