does anyone know what a Fuse holder looks like? It is on the connection from the amplifier to the battery.
It has to be 12" from the battery, right?

And do you really have to ground the amp to the chassis?

It has to be as close to the battery as possible. I wouldn't put it any further then 12".

There are AGU and ANL fuses (and a few others some brands use). The ANL fuses are usually for more high powered systems. Go to http://www.KnuKonceptz.com, and click on products then fuse holders to see what they look like.

Yes, it has to be grounded to the chassis.

You might not want to, but it would help you with some concepts. What amp is it? If you tell us the amp, we can tell you what fuse you'll need. And like aforementioned, ANL's are usually above, say, 100amps and range all the way up to like 350amps, but the AGU's (the ones that look like tubes) don't go as high.

i don't think my wiring kit comes with a fuse holder

It should say on the list of what's in it, is it a KnuKonceptz wiring kit? Should say something like "In-line fuse holder" and then depending on the gauge of the wiring kit it will have a corresponding fuse with the correct rating.

I have never heard of a wiring kit NOT including a fuse holder. If it is a full kit, it should have a fuse holder.

the manual says that the fuse holder is not included. They want a 50 Amp Fuse Holder.
Do you think tweeter company knows to ground the amp and have a fuse holder?
