JVC KG-300 200 Watt CD Player

What up guys? I am currently using th JVC player in my car and I dont think it has a subwoofer feature on it. My door speakers are stocked and I havent changed them yet an there blown so I usually have to fade most of the sound to the back and I dont want to do that. The only features on the cd player is FADE, BASS, BALANCE, AN LOUD. What I want to do is give the subs and the back speakers most of the bass and have no bass on the door speakers since there blown. But I dont know how to do that with this cd player?
EDIT: The cd player is a JVC KDG-300 200 WATT MP3 Player

I hate to be the one to break it to you, but that HU doesn't have those features, sorry.
Your best bet is to save up the money for a decent set of components and an amp to push them for your front stage.

oh...do you know of any good CD players that has those features?

Yeah JVC-720 has a 3 band Eq.

Which isn't going to help if he wants most bass in the rear and not in the front.
You need a HU that has seperate Xovers for front, rear, and sub. This usually isn't available in cheap units.

Sorry I just double checked the features of that unit and Justin is right...
Chalk that on up to human error.
If that's what you want is full control, you'll probably have to look into the top Eclipse or Pioneer / Premier systems.
And he's right... they ain't cheap.

go get yourself a non-polarized electrolytic capacitor that is about 200 uf and install it inline on the positive side going to each speaker. like this one...

Yup use bass blockers until you can afford a better deck. You should be able to pick up a pair at a local audio shop for no more then $10 for a pair if you dont wanna order online.

Or, if you're amping your speakers, you can set a (amp) bandpass to your rear speakers and the normal crossover settings for your sub. Obviously that depends on the crossover capabilities of the amp.

you have an amplifier for the subs right?
you're not powering them with the head unit... I hope.
its not really 200 watts. head units are really about 15 watts x 4 channels RMS.
the peak ratings a re meaningless, and used for advertising.
also I'd focus on replacing the blown speakers, as well as getting a head unit with the features you want.
If you want to be able to control bass to separate speakers and such, you're going to also need a separate 4 channel amplifier for the front/rear speakers. The head unit won't allow that sort of control on its own power.
Few will, at least. Alpine and Pioneer may have a few that do.
