which 1000 watt monoblock should i use?

Post by malcolm96merc »

getting ready to power (4) 12 inch single 4 ohm voice coil subs these are my top choices:

Crossfire VR1000D
Hifonics XX Zeus or 05' Brutus BX1500D (if i can find one)
Earthquake PH 2000W/D1.1
Rockford Fosgate T10001bd
Memphis 16-PRD1000.1 or MCD1000-1
Lanzar OPTI1000D
Kicker ZX1000.1

which one guys? Or does anybody have any other suggestions for 1000w monoblocks? And yes i want a monoblock. And yes, im on a budget, so know 5 dollar per watt amps please, lmao.

No more than maybe in the 400 dollar range, willing to spend a lil bit more if the amp is worth it but not more than $450. I looked at Massive but for some strange reason I thought their amps were'nt 1 ohm stable i probably just misread or sumthin.

what kinda scares me about hifonics is that everytime i go into somebody's audio shop or garage i see one in the corner burnt up or the casing off.

BTW just cause the case is off means its broken, some ppl take the case off for better cooling and other take it off to show off the internals :thumbsup

That kicker amp is a good one also. I have heard a lot of good feedback from the new ZX lineup.
