Saddam was hanged already

Apparently like everything else this has been leaked out....I didn't watch it yet tho...Debating still
I saw what apparently they had on CNN and that wasn't anything.
I just have mixed feelings about killing someone and plastering it on t.v.

Not to go completely crazy, I realize the guy is a terrorist and a complete nut job but...What made him different than the people in history that we idolize?
Columbus killed people all the time. Washington had slaves and all this other bad stuff. Bad examples its 2am and I just woke up can't really think of history that well. What I'm trying to say is this guy ruled a freakin country! He ruled it as he saw fit, at first I thought we U.S. had him hung on our soil. If so I would have went nuts because we do not have that right to do that.

I dunno its for the best but I don't have to like it...its not due to someone dying because that doesn't bother me just feels like it was done all wrong.

On a sidenote: For anyone who watched SouthPark the Movie you do realize how it started correct? Hussain's hanging....now if we go to war with Canada I suggest everyone bend over grab you ankles and kiss your ass :)

he, he ws hung in iraq. he was sentenced in iraq, by, go figure, iraqi's. i think the cameras were in there because (as far as i know) no one would belive it. also, he was not killed because a hell of alot of americans wanted to see him dead, its not like he's really done shit to us in the past 5 years. (MAYBE funding and providing a place for terrorists to train.. MAYBE). he was killed because of things he did to his own people.

^Exactly... we had nothing to do with it except finding him and turning him into the Iraq authorities... they did the rest.
The thing I didn't care for was Pres. Bush saying that this was justice served against 9/11... Although terrorist may have used Iraq's desert as a place of refuge... Saddam was not punished in our courts for this and was never directly tied to any of it... And then 20/20 tracks down one of the terrorist leaders and actually does an interview with him, and he says Bin Ladin (or however it's spelled) is still alive, and they are still planning more attacks.

Oh yeah... I feel safer (sarcasm)

Iraq dealt with Saddam in their own way, by their laws...
Only thing I liked about it... Is that if Iraq says your going to be put to death for your crimes... They don't mess around, You're dead! None of this pussyfooting around with 20-30years on death row and a million appeals.

there wouldnt have been an iraqi authorities if we wouldnt have been tere in the first place...
And if anyone doesnt think it was right to put his sorry ass on t.v. while he was hanged then i feel sorry for you.
think about how many people he had put to death...
his ass shouldve been tortured imo

bottom line, a man who deserved to die for the things he did is dead......whether he did them to you directly or not he did terrible things and he died for it.
