some of the alarm basics include starter kill, door trigger, and shock sensor.
you will also want to make sure the shop hooks up the rear hatch to the door triggers, and the hood, if it has a factory hood-pin. or you can have them add a hood pin, but they can rust really easy.
see if they can get a few piezo sirens to mount on the underdash. like
this.
id personally get a 2-way.
what year is your blazer?

I have a Code Alarm. It is a 2-way one, has starter kill, door triggers, and shock sensors. I like having the 2-way remote... except i already cracked one, lol. As long as you have all the options, i think an alarm is an alarm. What I like about Code Alarm is you get a lifetime warranty!!
Oh, and mine cost me $300 installed, but was on sale.

cool, head west until you get to I75, then come north to 275 east then take the covington/taylor mill exit, right at the ramp and go 3 miles or so then right on howard litzler to light and turn left and there i am......

most alarm manufacturers provide a lifetime warranty with their products. just be sure you ask.

I've used Autopage for almost 2 years now and I've got no complaints. 2-way remote auto start.
