yes they should, but products approved by Justin from Detroit are on there - because he's the shit. If he didn't run it, its no good. (excluding RE because of the bandwagon). I belive the brand of the month is Exlie Audio. It used to be that Kicker, Audison, Focal, RE, Elevation, and i think a few others were the hot shit, but now they all suck because Exile is the only one.

Also, the ones that arn't the XX line from last year I hear are overrated which means you arn't getting the power you are guaranteed which is why they might not be on the recommended list.

you are wrong. i've tested them and they do rated power on 14.4v if not more. there is an anti hifonics bandwagon because of API the company that previously Owned hifonics and autotek. API took a great name and trashed it by using Chinese company's and crappy parts. maxxsonics is trying hard to rebuild the name with high end at a great price equipment. i don't think that any people would be running maxxsonics in competition like myself unless they believed it to be the best. i've asked will a few times to move it but he hasn't gotten around to it yet.

With my new alt and big 3 upgrade, will I be able to maintain 14.4 or should I stick with only 12?

if it won't stay up around 13-14v then you're going to end up draining the battery... once the voltage drops that low it starts to use the battery as a source of power rather than the alt. and bad things happen!

what??? Alt's charge/run at 14.4 volts(whithout stress of course). Batteries themselves, with the alt not charging them, will sit at around 12.5volts. Everything in a normal car is rated under the classification of 12volts even though the alt charges at 14.4volts.

mooktastic you still have so much to learn.

not all alternators charge at 14.4v. most are actually 13.8
