...that's only 160W amp...so won't that be 80W per sub? seems awfully low to a set of subs...

Let us know how it sounds. SQ and SPL wise. Good luck with it!

Actually you need to look a lil closer and you'll see it's 160wrms @ 4 ohm and 247wrms @ 2 ohm, so it's giving each a lil over 120wrms.

It's a decent little system, not real powerful, but sounds good for daily driving, but you're not gonna win a competitions with it...
Myself personally I like the step up package from Fusion a little better: http://www.fusioncaraudio.com/products.php?region=3&action=view&product_id=297
That one PowerPlant sub eats up that 555 watts rms, so if you want a lil more, but outta only one sub, check out that one for a few bucks more :thumbsup

If you're lookin to get close to the others, you'll definately need to go bigger than the original Fusion pack you were looking at.

ive spent a lot of time on aim with him and the problem lies with 2 things......1. he only has 315 bucks to spend right now and 2. hes gonna buy whatever 315 bucks gets him whether it what he wants or not and it has to be everything, amp, subs, enclosure, wiring kit

That does create and usually is the largest problem... Money

To truly get the best for your dollar, you still need to save more than most are willing to... Most have it burning a hole in their pocket and can't wait to spend it... My advise for anyone that uses method is to buy a peice at a time... you get better equipment from the word go and then have an idea of what you need to save up for next, so you're not as likely to blow it on lesser equipment than what you really want... Just my honest opinion.
