How to wire in parallel

Well I know the theories behind it all, but I'm not quite sure how to actual run the wire. If i were wiring subwoofers together, would I put wire into the terminals, then solder them all together, and later connect them to the amp? Basically I've looked at diagrams, and I'm preparing to do my first install, and I want to know exactly what I'm doing before I go forward. Any help would be appreciated. I've looked through the FAQ, and the show off your install sections, but I couldnt find exactly what I needed. Maybe its super obvious, and I'm a big idiot.

You can wire it at the subs or run separate wires off all the subs. Same difference.

Do you mean run a seperate line from each terminal into the corresponding terminal on the amp? Because I thought the wires(in parallel) had to physically connect so their was a single current flow.

Here use this and see if this might help. Sometimes it's easy for someone to learn from a pic then in writing...

When you wire a sub, make sure you do it so that you may have the correct ohm load, that your amplifier is stable at.

In the above wizard you will have to input the amount of subs, then the ohms of the voice coils (Dual 4ohm voice coils=2x4), then it will show you the wiring configurations... the top configuration for 1ohm (4ohm DVC/ 2subs example) is how they will run in parallel
