2 boxes were stolen along with 2 subs
im fucking pissed arg

That happened to a friend of mine just less than a week after spending a 20 hour day installing the whole thing. It felt like they had stolen my stuff, so i know the feeling.

wow, that really stinks. Im in constant dread of that happening to my components. Someone i work with had his subs and amp stolen 3 times (though he had it coming)

i got them back
i went over to were i thought theyd be and the dude acted really suspicious then slammed the door in my face i kicked it in punched him demanded to know where my stuff was. he said he didnt have it didnt know what i was talking about while this was happening his girlfriend called the cops on me. the cops came put handcuffs on me and questioned them inside and found my subs and boxes. i gave them the serial numbers and perfect descriptions on the phone and had the serial numbers and paper work in in my van so they had no doubt they were mine.

i have a dilemma now though. if i press charges he is gonna press charges on me the cops said he could. i dont have a a record really i have 1 not carrying proof of insurance ticket and a previous assault charge that was dismissed cuz the person that filed it was trespassing on my property. i really dont want to have a criminal record so im not sure what to do

this is the first time ive ever recovered anything that has been stolen from me
i had a 400 scrambler atv stolen b4 that time the cops didnt come to my house for 2 days after it had been stolen and the tire marks and foot prints had been stolen. so i kinda took it into my own hands this time cuz im used to the cops doing very bad jobs up here. his excuse was that he had thought they were free for the taking.

i own plenty of guns no alarm but im gonna get one soon

I wouldnt risk it.

A mark on your record for assault will look worse than the theft mark on his record... Plus it may cause issues in the future while looking for a job.

yeah thats what i was thinking. atleast i got them back had i waited for the cops he probably wouldve sold them or traded them for meth. atleast the cops now know what all the neighbors have been complaining about and hopefully our neighborhood will have less theft now. who knows though this guy has been getting away with this for years b4 he was 18 hed steal and people would go to his parents to get it back now he lives right next to them in a trailer

yeah, I would leave it alone now. He likely will not steal from you again.
