I am just wondering what the specs would be for the Alpine Type R 12" in a bandpass box because i really like bandpass boxes and have one and was wondering if the type r's would do well in it. i would be able to post a pic of my box if you would like but i was just wondering if someone could post the specs so i could see if my box is the same.

i think u would be better off in a Ported/Vented Enclosure I know that you can get really loud in a box at 2.5cuft tuned at 34 hz

2.74 cf tuned to 45hz. 5.5 inch port 17.5 deep and 9.75 across L shaped. bish will be loud and you will be able to daily drive it without to much lack in sq.

i like that but i would tune a bit lower than that... max would be 40hz for me cause 45 is a bit high unless its really going to be a Bandpass

I have a 2005 silverado regular cab, I will be running an Alpine Type R 12" 1242d, I will be running it with an Alpine MRD-M500 amplifier, I nolonger have the jumpseat between the buckets, and I am 6'1 300 lbs so I need sitting room!!! oh and I would like to flush mount my m500 and my f340 amplifier (they are both identical in size, and visually) so Iam looking for fit, form function, and style.....
I hope this isnt too much to ask! LOL

probably aint gonna happen, herre is a link to an 05 silverado standard cab i did last year. dont remember the specs but it was a standard shift so the auto would gain you a little more room to run up against the dash but this was a sealed cvr and it sounded damn good in that truck.. on about 500 rms
