heres a problem my ground wire was a little loose so im guessin that was the problem because the light didnt even come on, on the amp.

another problem is that 4 sum dumbass reason i had first plugged the amp into the negative side of the battery and turned on my car.

did that mess it up? i checked the fuses on the amp everything is ok.

is there anything im missing?

Make sure your "ground" is actually making it back to the battery if it's not on the chassis/frame. Test for continuity between the ground wire and the frame/battery.

Did you hook the + and - to the opposite terminals and then turn the car on or did you only hook one side up and turn the car on? If it was the first, then the amp should have blown a fuse. If not, it just might be a paper weight. If it was the latter, than nothing would occur because you didn't have a circuit.
