Since I sold my blazer I've been using my mustang (88 gt) as a daily driver until I can find another car/truck/suv.

I just check the weather and its surpose to start snowing saturday morning, accumilations between 3-5".

So Im going to go pick up some sand bags, a small shovel, gloves and a few other little odds and ends and hope for the best....

I guess if the mustang fails to leave the drive way I'll borrow my sisters explorer, its only 2wd but gets around pretty decent.

Damn, I really need to find a decent daily driver again.

I feel your pain. I have 2 3rd gen Camaros, and of course neither one is real good in the snow. Fortunately I don't get a whole lot out here in Western Washington. Fortunately again, I grew up in Michigan and learned to drive there, but that snow is much different than the slick, slushy stuff we get here, ours doesn't pack. Slow and easy is all it takes most of the time.

Well I can do donuts in dry parking lots so.....

They changed the forecast, now they are saying we're going to get 6-8" of snow, so who knows... I'm going to head to town to try and find some sand bags and such..

Make sure you have good tires. Maybe put some all weather tires on it, or even something built more for snow. It's amazing the difference tires make.

It started flurring about an hour or so ago. It's not really surpose to start until early morning hours on saturday.

I dont want to spend the money on snow tires for the mustang because I can borrow my sisters explorer tomorrow, then by sunday night the roads should be OK. I should have a daily driver hopefully in the month or so, just cant find one that I want.

My sister is giving me her 95 ford taurus next month, it needs a few little odds and ends like tires and a motor mount, but over all its a pretty nice car. I'll probably rock that until spring time or until I can peddle it for something else... :happy055:
