the pics are from 3 yrs ago, i actually have wider tires and factory headlights, i'm a little burned out with the [whats supposed to be] polished aluminum, so i'm looking into powdercoating the rims black and changing the silver headlight bezels to black.

I like the idea on the rims.

Black Chrome would be awesome with the silver!

Now what panel are you painting black?

Nice car!

If you haven't done so yet, I recommend a light tint over the factory taillights. Clear coat with a black tint works good.

I know this is a couple of months old, but wanted to comment. I did that to my 89 RS. I used the VHT product "Nite-Shades" after cleaning the lenses up really good and applying an adhesion promoter (a clear plastic primer by Dupli-Color). I applied 2-3 coats of clear coat after the Nite-Shades dried.

There is only 2-3 very light coats of Nite-Shades applied, the red reflectors on the corners are still visible at night too.
