New stereo installed - Kenwood Excelon DMX908S

Chevrolet Camaro (1984) - The Ghetto Ride

Had to say goodbye to my OpenAuto Pro setup in the Camaro after either the Raspberry Pi or SD card gave up on me. Since OAP isn't being developed anymore, I figured it wasn't worth trying to resurrect that setup. Time for something new!

I ended up going with a Kenwood Excelon DMX908S mainly because it has wireless Android Auto, which was a must-have for me. Installing it was actually pretty straightforward this time around - I wasn't about to spend days trying to modify an OEM bezel like I did before. Found this company called Screaming Chicken that makes a double DIN bezel specifically for 82-92 Camaros. Yeah, it wasn't cheap, but beats the headache of 3D printing or fabricating one from scratch.  The texture is pretty close to the OEM texture,  I might still paint it with some SEM satin black.

So far I'm really happy with how it turned out. Just waiting for this weather to warm up so I can take the car out and give it a better listen and tune.
