she took a job down there as the special events coordinator. what she did before involved finding vets and getting them their benefits. she did something similar in st louis too. alaska is a really cool place if youre into the outdoors. we are getting allot more stuff up here i can get cactus sounds dc audio and few others locally now which is nice i guess.

I'm not far from Ft. Hood. I had a friend I met in Afghanistan who was stationed out of hood and is now in Alaska. He's loving it up there.

I've gotten a couple with missing titles this year but my sisters job on the base made it really easy to find anyone. One lady got really creeped out when I said so you're an amateur writer. I was just relaying the info I got from my sister ans trying to make small talk while we were at the DMV. She kept asking how I knew this and that about her. My sister is now down at fort hood now so Ill have to do the tracking people down myself. Or just get a bond for the cars appraised value ans whatever else the DMV says I gotta do to get a clean title

I keep seeing what looks like good deals on cars here, but they all have title issues and I'm even going to go down that road.

a box van would be cool. lots of converted buses up here people get them and live in them till they save enough money to build. saw one a few weeks ago that was originally a cbs news van guys were stuck at a rest stop apparently they did a vegetable/waste cooking oil conversion on it and were having preheating problems didnt prepare for the winter i guess some battery problems too. they were driving to washington iirc saw them the next day broken down on the side of the road maybe 10 miles further. that rv i had was nice but i just didnt like how they used the space so i took allot of it out built stuff how i wanted it then ended up selling it. found another even bigger almost bus size one on clist the other day runs drives great but has title problems. so im not sure if itll be worth the hassle of buying it for 600 then how ever much it costs to actually get a clear title but it could be a fun project customizing the interior.

A school buss would be cool. Tons of room, that's for sure. Fullsize livingroom with surround sound ... :)

my cousin goes to MIS every year and completely renovated a school bus into an rv with a full kitchen, running water, dining table, beds etc, its pretty badass

That's cool. I've thought about making my own sort of camper out of an old used Uhaul truck or something. Seems like it would be a fun project.

Nah I like to camp allot and I want to make it as comfortable as possible for my wife also when i do shows in places with no rooms i like to stay warm. Had a big RV but sold that. I did live out of one when I was younger

Damn it man ... you live in that van or what? lol. I was so excited I was going to alaska after my tour to Korea I flew up there for a week before going to Korea. Assignment got cancelled and I haven't made it back sense.
