Well as far as your ebay question. I personally would only recommend ebay for good quality used items unless you're not worried about a factory warranty... I always recommend that you buy from an authorized dealer to save from the headache down the road ;)
As for your 8 or 10 question, you're gonna have to be more specific... and you may want to think about starting a new thread for this question, so we can give it more attention :)

Since I recommended the L7 (would recommend Dual 4 ohm voice coils) for 2 of them, you're gonna require an amp that will put out around 1500watts RMS @ 1ohm. Some that I can personally recommend would be the Crunch GP1500D, Autotek MM1400.1D, Autotek SS1500.1D, Massive Audio P1500.1 just to name a few.

well how much power would you recommend throwing at them. both the L7 and the L5. and what amp would you recommend for them?

by breakjunki » Mon Jul 30, 2007 3:10 pm

I have a 12" l5, and had a 12" L7, both will get loud, The L&'s have the potential to get louder with more power, but you can get the L5's goin with alot less watts. Guess it depends on how much power you want to throw to them. Either way with decent power 2 of either will be loud.

^Exactly... Me thinks the boy is catchin on :thumbsup
If the boxes were designed especially for L7s then that's probably what will be best for them... Sorry didn't mean to insult you or anything, we just get a lot kids here asking about "Special" enclosures that will fit their subs only to find out they're prefab, so it's just the natural assumption since you were talking about 2 different subs.
