thumping from subs going from acc to on

whenever my car is in the ACC position and i crank the engine to turn on, my subs thump. This does not happen when regularly starting the car. Is this a ground issue? If so, why would it not do it when regularly starting the car?

Well its actually for my main ground. I have a 4 gauge wire for my ground that is going to my eclipse 4 ch amp and an 8 gauge wire from the eclipse's ground terminal to the cadence's ground terminal. You will really only notice a change after about .3db so the increase in 1 sub and 75 watts may yield you 3db but be barely noticeable, if it were a ported box i think the output would have been more noticeable. Thanks for the info. Maybe that is why, I came from a ported box to a sealed box, so ma...

So I finally finished the box. Some quick notes about it: My cuts were a little off; 1/8" here, 1/16" there, so not all sides are level. When I was test playing I found an air leak on the bottom right side panel. I just put some more sealant on that area Here is a pic and a video of it: ht...

So I went out at 12 midnight the other night to install the new amp and temporary setup of 1 of the 2 RE subs in my old enclosure. Let me tell you, this sub sounds so much better than the old RE sub I had in there, and this is ~125W less power! I cant wait to hear 2 of them with 375W of power in my ...
