The FB group has a few of the old timers on it still.
Well, DIYMA is pretty busy, CAJ is still a bit slow. I had actually forgotten about this place until I got the email.

Re: Recommendations on AMP & Wiring

I’m looking for an amplifier to power four 4 ohm speakers. I have 2 x 75 watt rms in the front, and 2 x 100 watt rms in the back deck. I’m currently looking at these two amps, and would like to like to know which one would be a better fit, and what form of wiring would be best for my situation. -Cr...

Re: Making speakers quieter

Yeah, forgot to mention, I did use capacitors as crossovers on both tweeters. You'll still need them on separate channels (head unit or amp) to adjust their levels separately from the mids. Or you could get some audio type resistors and wire them inline with the tweets, I completely forgot about th...

Re: Making speakers quieter

So, I just got my new budget tweeters and connected them to my amp in parallel to two mid-speakers. The thing is, the tweeters are now too loud, and I lack the mids. Just wanted to know if there is any easy way to make them a bit quieter? If not, I guess I'll have to disconnect them, and save for s...

Re: Fourth Gen Camaro enclosure questions....

I'm looking for some advice from anyone that may have experience designing a sub enclosure to fit in the rear well of a 93-02 Camaro coupe. I currently have a sealed well box that is 2.6 cubes with some additional room on each side, holding 2 Kicker CVR 12's. I'm looking to increase output and keep...

Re: Single amp or multiple? Could use advice

I was also wondering if i should be worried about over powering my door speakers? The front door 6.5" JBLs hold a rating of 60 watts rms each while the rear 6x9s are 100 watts rms each. I was really just looking for something that could give the rear 6x9 speakers a little more juice but unfort...

Re: Need help amp started to smoke

By the time you run down all of the info and parts and put in the labor, it might be cheaper to just buy another one.
