3 more decks to add the mix, and a bit cheaper as well(always a good thing):
JVC KD-AR780
JVC KD-AR880
Kenwood KDC-X790
I've owned both Kenwood and JVC in the past, been happy with both. The deck that lasted me the longest (until it was stolen) was my JVC. And it had probably the easiest menu and eq adjustments of all my decks that I've owned. I think I may go for the 780, for the mix of price, Auxilary inputs, 3 RCA outputs, and a decent Eq.

Alpine CDA-9885
I was going to mention the JVCs, but some like them, while others don't... especially when the lower level lines only have 2.5V outs... They are all very nice units though... aesthetically pleasing to the eye with tons of features for the price and very simple controls.
Now that you've added JVC to your choices... that's the route I'd recommend

Yeah, I'll probably go that route. The one's I'm looking at are the Arsenal lineup, so they have no shortcomings of features. I've been pleased with my JVC's in the past, so I'll most likely go back with them again.
I think I'm going to drop the Alpine idea. After really messing with it at work, it seems as if they are more oriented towards being an all around media player. They eq kinda sucks, really.

I would go JVC and the best you can afford. I miss my AR770...
