Time to move again :)

Post by breakjunki »

Well.. it moving time again. if anyone remebers I lived in Seattle for a few years not to long ago. For some retarded reason I decided to come back to Hell(Florida). I've now come to the realization Florida is a place you either come to visit or come to die :) or both in certain areas :) So back to the best coast.. oops I mean west coast I go. Portland, Oregon. Floridas definitly not a high paying state. So even though I haven't been around all that much lately this has still been home since about 05 ish :) talk to ya when I get out there, Joe

Florida does pay well and the cost of living seems high.

My woman wants to move down to Fla in 3 years when her parents go. I told her "nice knowing ya!" lol

yeah, it used to be cheap to live here. but the last 5-8 years basically rent and real estate have doubled or even tripled, while pay remains the same crappy :) You come to Florida to visit or to die.. thats it :)

It is truely a tough job market down there especially when you have migrant workers willing to take minimum wage for a job we wouldn't touch for less than anywhere from $10-20 bucks an hour... My daughter moved back because of the cost of living down there and one of her friends who is also a chef has been outta work for nearly 3 months is looking at moving up now too.

Good luck on the move :)

hey talk about standard of living and taxes... I live in CT... I think... I'm sure that someone will correct me, but Fairfield County (which I live in) has the highest taxes outside of possibly San Diego County, and right now the Highest gas prices... Yesterday I drove through Greenwich, 87 octane was $4.84!!!!
