well here is the latest.

I went to my family physician. He checked me over, moved my neck, had me grip his fingers, (not pull his fingers) and he had my move my body around. My back is hurting again, and my neck is in severe pain. I got more meds...like Flexoril and Lortab..but I have had left side weakness, numbness and tingling. Even the left side of my lip goes numb sometimes.

So he set me up with a couple of MRI's. First one will be for my neck, second one for my lumbar back. I would not be lying if I said I am a bit worried. I worry mainly cause I have never felt this before. Not with any of my other back issues ( have had two surgeries: 1 diskectomy and the other a fusion of the L4-L5-S1). I haven't ever had tingling and weakness in both legs...it is bothering me somewhat. Now I think I need to email a friend of mine who is a Lawyer to see if he can recommend someone to represent me.

Definately a good idea to lawyer up to protect yourself as you have no idea how far into the future this may go medically... I hope and pray for you and the families sake it doesn't go that far though.

UPDATE!!!

Just found out that my MRI on my back showed nothing out of the ordinary...I just wish I could say the same about my neck. I have a bulging disk in my neck now. totally pissed right now about this news. Means I will have spinal issues the rest of my life. They are going to pay out the nose for this....totally ticked off right now.

Bummer, that kind of pain sure does suck. I broke my back in a car wreck bout 10 yrs ago. And I have problems all the time. Sometimes is worse than others, though. Is there any way to fix it permanently or will it always be there??

As of right now, I just found out that it is there, I have sent my Orthopedic Surgeon an email and that I need to see him ASAP. I don't know if there is anything I can do for this. But it will be a pre-existing condition from here on out. That will have to be taken care of for the rest of my life.
