personally i dont think the op is retarded but i could care less about ford.. all American cars are shit (yes im Caucasian and born in America, speak English,etc) personally i drive a chevy blazer and the thing couldn't be more of a pos. It gets 74 miles per half a tank of gas (driving normal) no extra weight(i.e system, etc) yes for now stock cd player shit stopped working for no reason. The handles on both seats to lean backwards just broke off(not from abuse) I know its not in anyway a fuel efficient car but I would expect it to get more than 148miles per tank. Thats just ridiculous with gas prices high or not. Sorry for my rant, just off the top of my head. Personally when the ceo's flew into DC on their private jets makes me give 2 shits about their companies whether they are a big part of our economy or not. I hope the big 3 fail even after homo bush helping them out, they go bankrupt, reorganize and think about building better quality cars(also more fuel efficient) that don't break down 2000 miles after driving it off the dealership.

i guess you could be driving a 1200 lbs honda and get 30 mpg in the city or you could have a 3400 lbs blazer and get 14 mpg in the city. But if you were in the honda and got ran into by the blazer I bet you would of wish you had a blazer then, but if you had the blazer and got ran into by the honda you would be asking the person why he scuffed your bumper when he gets taking away by the meat wagon.

Dude did you ever hear of a tune up?? Go through it and spend a few bucks on it and get some plugs, 02 sensor, maybe a new air filter, and you shoud get more out of it than 148 miles per tank. Check the air in your tires too.

i guess i could expect this from a redkneck trying to elect 1 of the bigger devils into the White house.. its ok though i can feel your pain..calling a blazer a piece of crap.. i think for my age it is in pretty damn good shape and a hell of a lot luckier than most kids with having this... may i ask whats not a piece of crap car thats designed and engineered in the usa? I think its every 1 of each persons fault and them lacking in the field they pursued in college. Hence the whole companies failing. Its not if 1 person falls they all fall. Its a team effort to put a car together and when its not done to as so far to "impress" the consumer it fails.(hence the big 3)

maybe I can only afford what i have right now, ever think of that(im pretty sure when your shop went out of business you couldnt afford much either) Also look where i live we have gotten 20+ in of snow in a week. I need the blazer regardless. As far as the crash goes.. Im sure I would like to be in the honda since its more than likely a lot higher in test crash rating and i would more than likely survive.. metal cans would probably come out of the airbag compartment of the blazer and i would probably end up dieing.. But then i can tell my family to sue the company and put them out of business. Also i stated i understand its not a fuel efficient car..so why are you comparing it to something like a honda?

Yes I have, everything is tuned to where it should even had an oil change a few hundred miles before it was scheduled. I dont hate all american cars..but most suck
