In between two decks...

Post by Way 2 Fonky »

Hey im looking to buy a new deck and im looking at
DEH-P600UB
http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PUSA/ ... 00UB?tab=B
or
DEH-P400UB
http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PUSA/ ... 00UB?tab=B
Now they are pretty much the same i can get the 400 for $120 or the 600 for $180. Which one do you guys think is the better deal? I would like the better eq but is it really worth $60 more? That and the display are the only two noticeable differences to me or am I missing something?
Any help is appreciated, Im trying to spend no more than 200, if you guys have your own HU recommendations they are more than welcome.

i'd go for the higher unit, you will be much happier in the long run....but imo i'd get an older pioneer deck. I love mine, its very easy to navigate through. I tried one of pioneers new units, and i absolutely hated it, they tried to put too many functions with one button, i hate the volume control with up down left right. If you wanna spend that kind of money i'd find a used 800prs

I'm with these guys^ ... For the little added money you'll be happier with the better unit.

Go with the higher unit.... is there really even a question?? If you can afford it, go for it.
