yea it looks pretty cool. tiny little thing!

I went to home depot didnt even bother asking them if they could cut it. Ended up with (2) 2'x4' pieces of 3/4" MDF. I cut the 3 8"x11.5" pieces and 2 11.5" x 26". I ended up being a little narrow on the 26"ers and one of the 8"ers because this is my first time working a circular saw. I will try and work on it during the weekend... in sunlight lol

as a temporary setup while i build my box, i want to use my old box with one of the new subs. the sub is dual 4 ohm and the amp is 110W RMS x 2 @ 4ohm. If I just run a wire from the positive and negative of the sub to the amps positive and negative, that would output 110W to each voice coil, making it a total of 220W, correct? If i keep the gain down, this wouldnt be a problem right?

You will probably be fine.

But as always, when you got past the RMS you are taking a chance.

For straight cuts with a circular saw buy a 1" x 1" X 1/8" Aluminum Angle Iron and two 2" C clamps. Works like a champ.
