Their flat cone models which have been discontinued had a bad mechanical defect in them. I had installed two A-series 12's which were freakin awesome. Fantastic SQ. However service/support from eD hasn't been great. Their stuff now is okay; I'd look elsewhere.

I just ordered my edead from them and it came with a catalog of all their stuff, nothing really impressive, plus their amps look just like Pioneer Premier amps.

if ya want a good deal on some better subs, look at the clearance sale from http://www.ascendantaudio.com
see what they've got going out the door.

A lot of people rave about eD but I've seen a few too many problems with their service to like what I've seen.

Too many better companies out there for the same money in my view.

Appreciate the feedback.. I've been lookin into a few others adire, re etc.. but trying to stay away from what seems to me what everyone else is switching to.. something I've always avoided.. as in JL, Kicker etc... there's too many small companies that make bad ass products.. I used to use american bass back in the day.. I talked to Joe Belmonte at elevation and can get a good deal on 3 pro series 12's but once again don't know the quality..Well plenty of time to plot out my next plan.. unless the old pioneers give!

The newer eD products are supposed to be half decent. They use Image Dynamics now to build their subs. Image Dynamics is a very respectable company.

With that being said right now at http://www.sounddomain.com they have some ID subs that are refurbed for $60 on up... This is a really good deal.

As far as everyone getting RE and Adire- how many people do you know of in person that has them? They are popular amont the message boards and the people in the "know". They are by no mean mainstream products like Kicker and JL...

if you want to avoid the band wagon, skip eD.
They were bandwagon leaders before RE and Adire.
At least RE and Adire have good cause though. They make outstanding SQL subwoofers.
AA will sound terrific, but probably won't have quite the output of higher end RE and Adire. It's a matter of if you want more SQ or more SPL
