As some of you know, to install my tweeters, I cut holes in the grills of my stock door panels.

Check it...

Well, I wasn't sure where I was going to find replacements if I were ever to sell or trade the vehicle. I was worried about it but worry no more. A guy in town was parting out his Limited, so I pounced on that shiz and went in for the kill.

Got me some panels along with a-pillars. So, I can swap out the grills if I ever need to and with the bonus of snagging those a-pillars, I can try makin' me some speaker pods with'um.

Now I have some thinkin' to do. Not sure what type of speakers to go with, how many, or which size. I think I want to keep the size to 4" or under.

Would full range be a dumb way to go?

Well, the panels I just picked up aren't a perfect color match. I mainly wanted the grills. I think I can get by with switching the grills but switching entire door panels is out.

But I'd really like to try something with the a-pillars.

I'd go with some nice 4 inchers in the pillers. Should work great.
