Power antenna is Blue
Amp turn on is Blue w/White
He doesnt have it right. This is the only solution.
Well not the only, but close to it.
If he does have it right theres something wrong with the CD section of the deck then.
Thats the options at this point.

Well dudes, I went and checked it out personally. He does indeed have it all wired correctly. I was incorrect on one issue though, the unit does not support ipod. So no he has no ipod. But yes he does have radio in all speakers.
The only option I am at at this point is that like everyone else the CD section has went kapoot.
On a side note he told me that one of his buddies that he works with, why I have no good explanation or even a good lie to tell for why he did this, but he hooked the ground up to the remote wire.
Would that or could that have fried just one section of the unit?? or would it have fried the whole thing, or did nothing at all??
Im gonna guess the CD section is bad like everyone else.

If he hooked the remote wire up to a ground wire he probably friend the remote turn on circuit.
As I stated way earlier, try jumping the remote turn (amplifier side) with a known 12V source just to SEE if it works.

At this point in the game there is NO harm in trying this.
If by chance it DOES work then he just needs to provide a switched 12V source as his amp turn on lead.
Its an odd situation really...

yeah, cause just the CD section doesnt work. The Head unit powers up and he can get the tuner section to come on, in fact he was listening to the radio when I got to his house.
Im thinking the CD section has crapped out on him.
