I just bought a new pair of AMERICAN LEGACY LS6930 6X9 3 WAY SPEAKERS 400 WATT with 80 OZ. magnets!! Just what is the sugnifagince of a big magnet? What is the biggest magnet you can get on 6x9 speakers? Have i made a good choice?

Bigger magnet usually means more RMS power handling.
This is not a good nor bad thing. Its all on how you match your componets up.
As far as the purchase you made a mistake.

the magnet weight means nothing really.
the magnetic field strength depends on both the size and material of the magnet, which determines the motor control of the speaker. the better the motor control for the speaker, the "tighter" the response will be. If the magnetic field isn't strong enough, the speaker's response will appear loose and sloppy because the speaker will be unable to respond quickly enough to the changes in the signal it receives from the amplifier or head unit.
the speaker's weight alone is often used in marketing to impress people who don't have a full understanding of speaker characteristics. Judging a product solely on "specs" can be very misleading and dangerous. This holds especially true when you don't fully understand the numbers you're looking at in the first place.
American Legacy isn't a very well respected brand. That being said, if you got them very cheap, and they sound ok to you, you should be fine, but there are much better quality, more reliable brands on the market. This probably even holds true for close to what you spent for those speakers, or within a fair approximation to the price.
