Ok, so because you think I broke a forum rule that gives you the rights to act like a total ass?

Right right...

Since you obviously want to pick a fight with me, go for it. Let it all out.

So if someone comes here asking about a product and I suggest something that fits the bill and I also happen to sell its a crime? What if I suggest something I dont sell? What if I suggest something I do sell and something else I dont sell? So by the same tense if "Jim Bob" is suggesting equipment to people that Sponsor him he may have other motives also? Or is it just because it fits the application and another possibility? So wheres the line drawn? Who are you to tell the Admin where this line is drawn? Actually who are you to Police the Admin and maliciously attack them?

That rule was meant to keep people for posting a for sale thread more so than a "hey I got a " post within a thread.

Furthermore it was wrote by someone who isnt even part of the Administration here anymore and does need to be clarified.

This board still operates off the same respect and values it has for 10 years now. If you come here to cause trouble, disrespect the Admin you will be banned. If you dont like that get off this board then.

Quite frankly I am fed up with the negative attitudes being harbored here lately which explains my lack of posts as of lately. I am still however an owner and Administrator of this board and I will still act as such.

I'm not being the police, started out trying to subtly say you were going a little overboard with the replies to threads where you offered to sell someone something.

If those rules don't apply go ahead and take them down and rewrite your own. Maybe you should consult with the other admins of the board on what the rules should be, because they are the ones who should be "policing" you as it were.

I thought the rule was well written before. I thought the rule was written to stop vendors from entering threads and offering advice that favors something that they sell, and then going ahead and trying to make the sale, it clearly stated to keep that kind of things in for sale threads. Said advice is clearly biased and an attempt to make a sale.

I also never said it was a crime, just bad form, and against the rules that I thought to still be in effect.

I'm not trying to tell the admin where to draw the line, its not my job. I thought the rules posted as THE RULES were meant to draw those sorts of lines. There are plenty of threads where you crossed the line that I thought to be a bit more than imaginary.

Was I a little sarcastic? yes.. Does that make me an ass? Sure. Sorry for my manner in approaching this issue.

Does that mean my message wasn't important? thats up to you and the other admins to decide I suppose.

Just because you are an admin, can you break the rules that are (were) in place?

Do cops go around breaking the law?

Ive asked the Sales rep more than once about warranty policy.

All products through Ramko has a full manufacturers warranty unless otherwise stated so. There is no place in the catalog that deviates away from this Policy towards American Bass.

Also there is nothing stated inside the catalog about Internet Sales of American Bass nor anything about American Bass territories (which Massive does have this clause).

Both of my local pawn shop carry SPL products. I've heard a few different set ups with them, they seem to be on par with brands like boss, sound storm, pyramid, etc.

I'd stay away from them.
