Pioneer AVH-P4300DVD

I'm thinking about buying this deck. It's on sale for $450 here in town. Regular price $600.

I'm thinking I can't go wrong with Pioneer but have never owned or used a double-din with a screen. How do these function in hot and/or cold temperatures? In the summer, it gets hot here and you know how hot a vehicle interior gets in hot temperatures. Scorchin'. And in the winter, it gets so cold, you have to pull your coat sleeves over your hands while driving your car, or you'll frostbite your ****in fingers off on the steering wheel before you make it to work in the morning.

Will these hot and cold temeratures kill the screen?

I know on nearly every deck ive had the screen wont display right on a super cold morning. Its either slow or just doesnt display anything right until it warms up. I dont know how many -30 or more mornings you get but its a problem for me. In the summer its fine

We have about two months of -30. But I just had a remote start installed. :) So if the cold isn't a screen killer, this deck will work fine, I think. Thanks for the reply!
