What do you all think about Herman Cain?

I like the guy. I like that he's not a politician. I think most if not all the comments by the left and right regarding him are out of fear. Politicians stand a chance of loosing control of the country. I think we could use that right about now.

The government as a whole is flawed. As is a two party system as is this so called democratic republic.

yeah, the country is definitely in a hole. I think it's fixable, but the solution(s) will piss off a lot of people. They country has gone too much to an entitlement mentality with politicians creating social programs to win votes. Now people expect the government to take care of them. Things need to get back to the way they were a long time ago when people and communities took care of people in their communities and the government governed. What part of bailing out GM is governing? My tax money got spent on that crap. I love GM cars, but they didn't deserve to be bailed out. They failed. Suck it up and drive on. Someone would have bought up those assets cheap and the country would have driven forward as it always has the capitalistic way. How many small startup car companies are there in California alone, a struggling state, that could have benefited from GM failing. Rather than having the same old stuff, we could have pushed forward with new technologies from new car companies. The same employees who were making GM cars could now be making Teslas or one of the other 15 or so companies making 100% electric vehicles. I'm struggling to build a business from the ground up and GM gets billions of my tax money because they're "too big to fail"? Really? Screw that. Nobody asked me if we should bail out GM or anyone else for that matter.

You guys should check out the 10 steps of democracy as told by history. Were in the 9th step. The 10th step is all out failure and chaotic anarchy.

For the record im an anarcho capitalist so none of my views are swayed left or right.

Yes it is. I have been truly scared of the path this country has been taking for years. The amount of distractions and miss information in the media is appalling. There is no such thing as self reliance or hard work left here in America. The populous wants to be spoon fed and read about Kim Kardashian. Its truly sad what we have become.

I know that's right. I'll have to read up on the 10 steps. I haven't heard of that before.
