Which is better for bass on a budget?

The less I spend the better but its not a huge deal if the difference will be night and day.

Id like to save as much trunk space as possible also.

For those who know me im back.

Still sick as hell but I got my disability and one thing besides my medical stuff that im doing is putting subs in my car again.

For anyone who cares I have an l5 disc protrusion, low testosterone, some disorder that doesnt allow my brain to adapt to chemical changes too well (gotta figure it out) Chronic severe headaches (not migraines though) So with the headaches and back pain i have to take pain meds but when i take pain meds for more than 2-3 days in a row i go through horrible withdrawl (brain chemical adaptation problem) so yeah its like living in hell, good news is im getting married this summer :)

Nice to be back on here again. So lemme know what you think about the sub combo. I wanna save as much trunk space as possible so if 1 15 is better at that than 2 12s ill probably go that route. Im using 6.5 components Planet Audio big bang 150rms so thats good already and im using a high end pioneer deck

I don't have any experience with the subs you listed.

So let me ask you a couple questions.

Why not run one good 12?

What box will be bigger, the sealed box for the 15, or the box for the 2 12s?

If you want the box sealed then the SXX is out. Its only recommended for ported enclosures.

ok wasnt sure if that meant it was recommended ported or would only work ported.

Basically i just want something the same SQ and a bit louder than my old 12" infinity reference 12s (2 of em), they were 300 rms each and in a sealed box.

Im thinking 2 12s the 15 may be too high for my trunk its a 2005 sunfire.

Ok the 15 needs 3.0 min ported the 12s are 1.0 sealed max so its gonna be more room for the 15 which I DONT want. Gonna be 70 dollars more for the 2 12s but oh well I guess.

Also is this amp any good for those subs, and will they be ok with 800rms each since they can only be ran at a 4 ohm or 1 ohm load at the amp?
I know RE used to be very good quality but the FAQs arent updated are they?

Sorry 700 rms a speaker, im gonna go with a JBL GTO 1200 rms amp for 314 bucks on amazon

they wont be its 1200 rms at 4 ohms, with 2 subs thats 600 rms, they are DVC and able to be wired at 4 ohm load at the amp
