I've had my Adire Brahma 15" Mark II for about six months now. The sub is very accurate and has very good sound quality, but certainly not the best of the best. There is virtually no cone noise to speak of; you can be right up on it with your ear and still not hear any noise. The output is very clean and clear, but most of all, accurate.
The Brahma of course gets fairly loud with minimal power. I use a JBL BP600.1 wired at 1 ohm for my purposes. My Brahma is in a 4.5 cubic foot, slot ported box tuned to 30Hz. Even this combination can make you want to stick your fingers in your ears. It does seem that no matter how loud it is, it sounds the same.
I love it very much and would have a lot of trouble parting with it. My driver has treated me well. The build quality is fantasic, very solid. I highly recommend such a driver. Remember, Resonant Engineering's XXX series is almost the same sub. Anyone with one will have a similar experience. The XXX's have more x-max thus making them slightly louder.
One negative I can see is that the dustcap. Mine isn't flush with the cone of the sub (they used a tad too much glue on it). It is still sealed all the way around though. Another is the rubber surround around the basket (covers the mounting hole "circle"); it has split for some reason along the outer rim (2 inch split). It has no effect on the sub or it's sealing.
