Who's still alive?
Re: Who's still alive?
This is a fun post! I've strayed from car audio a bit, but I am alive and have been thinking of a small project. I have a car with lightweight fiberglass doors and the audio performance is poor. Each door has a woofer and tweeter, no insulation/sealing, and I want to minimize weight. I'm thinking of 3d-printing some sealed pods to see what happens. I'll try to post something when I get there.

Welcome back, ya the 3d printing idea is cool. It's amazing how far things have come in the last 20 years in regards to being able to do custom stuff.mspiegle wrote: ↑Thu May 28, 2026 8:04 am This is a fun post! What type of car is it? Would love to see it on our main site and be able to follow the build there
you should add it!

Thanks! I'm really excited to dig into this project and improve my design skills. The car is a Rossion Q1. I will post more when I get started.Chris from Washington wrote: ↑Thu May 28, 2026 8:39 am Welcome back, ya the 3d printing idea is cool. I was never really super active here or any message boards really, but I am still around. Work from home now so never got around to putting any new stuff in my car. Just a stock 2018 Camaro ss. Sold my 98 firebird formula to my buddy and it still has my re xxx in it going strong.
I did build a full marty 18 for my surround sound a few years ago with the Dayton ultimax. It's nice when I get to use it...

It's nice seeing who may actually still have the same email from years ago! Ah a 4th Gen Formula, those were some of the meanest looking ones! Love those.

I’m still around. I was actually thinking about looking on here as I’m ready to put a brick through my head unit. I work entirely too much now. Haven’t been on here in a long time.
