Installation Help with Roadgear AM/FM CD Stereo

Hi Everybody!
My son bought a used Roadgear AM/FM CD Stereo and he installed and the radio works all right but the CD isn't turning. Does anyone know where I can find installation instructions for this radio? He has pretty well got his truck decked out the way he wants it except for his CD player. (By the way--he's only 16)

If the radio works and the CD doesnt the deck is faulty.

Throw out.

Road Gear decks can be had at walmart for under $60

which is approximately twice what they're actually worth.
there's probably a reason he got it used, and cheap.. because it was already a failed unit and someone wanted to unload it.

best recommendation is to buy a better unit.. even it it's a used one from ebay or a local seller. roadgear is really about as bad as it gets.

Thanks for everybody's help. Jeremy bought this stereo off e-bay and it is the first item we ever had trouble with. Does anybody have any recommendations for an affordable stereo that will fit in his truck?

stop in your local box store and you can usually get a sony or kenwood or pioneer for about 100 bucks...not top of the line but definitely affordable and in most cases far more reliable than roadgear or durabrand or any of that stuff......

also contact the seller and see about returning the unit as defective.
if they refuse, leave negative feedback and report them to eBay's safe harbor or fraudulent seller services.
I also suggest always paying for ebay auctions via paypal with a credit card.
then you have both paypal protection, and chargeback services from the CC.

oh and for a new unit, try http://www.crutchfield.com, http://www.etronics.com, or any reputible on-line retailer and see what's offered and what's on sale.
we'd be happy to give opinions on whatever you find that appeals to you.
