Anyone hear Clif Designs Amplifiers? What is the SQ like, Build like ect??
I ahve used CD and CDT speaker for years. Wondering how the amps are? Thanks

From my understanding Clif Designs is owned by DEI. Like all DEI products its made in Asia. Not to sure on build quality and such but I imagine its not the best.

I looked into them once. I later decided to go with Arc Audio KAR series. The price per watt is really reasonable and the product is made in the US and is top notch. Why pay more for less or settle?

Thanks. Another has told me the CD of today is not the same company it used to be. Today I own CDT Eurosports not CD speakers. I will look into Arc. Thanks

Im unaware of Clif Designs turning into CDT Audio (http://www.cdtaudio.com)

Ive heard that CDT uses Vifa woofers...

The current Clif Designs is owned by the Anaba Group... Parent Co. of MA Audio IIRC.
CDT & Cliff Designs are 2 diff companies. Not related in any way.

Vifa, (or probably Thympany, the parent co of Peerless, Vifa, Scan & Logic) OEM's raw drives to CDT specs. And you are likely to find similar designs in Vifa's line of raw drivers but not identical...

IMO... the current products from the new Cliff Designs are inferior to the Cliff Designs products on old in terms of SQ. My Opinion ofcaorse...
