Sell it for drug money. That's all they do really.

There is no need for a fund for me, you guys don't need to send me anything. I'll be without car audio till I get a new car which will be fine with me. But that is if I don't have my stuff.

I got an email from my boss asking me for the time I worked before the hurricane. I had to tell him it's floating around my house somewhere ;)

A time like this shows a persons true character, I respect the way you're handling the situation. After watching all the blame games on TV and ignorance, it's nice to see people that realize the difficulty in the situation and make the best of it.

I hope the van is safe...

Let us know if all of its precious cargo is still there when you can!

I'm pretty sure it's been looted. I can have hope all I want, but I'll be hit pretty hard if my hopes are too high, so I'm expecting the worse.

We're hoping that we can just gut the first level of the house and rebuild, but from what a couple people have been saying, we will most likely have to bulldoze it. I just hope my stairs are sturdy enough for us to take all of the stuff out the second story. ...but that's if the mold hasn't grown up there yet.

I'm so glad I expected the worse on my van. Because now... I"M SO FREAKING HAPPY!!!! IT"S PERFECT!! I had gotten a call from my uncle earlier today telling me that my car is in perfect (er, original) condition. Alarm light still blinking and no tires flat! I will be able to get my car out later this week.

Appearantly the National Guard secured the building before any looting. So, National Guard, I love you.
