none, and you dont need one. just do the big three, alternator and battery upgrade if you need to.

Ditto. If you are noticing dimming lights, adding a cap may actually make your situation worse. Do an alternator upgrade as well as a battery and the big three like sinister mentioned. You will notice better results.

i agree with them the only time a cap will help is when you have an electricle system that can support it and if its a large bank. the reason i say this is because a capacitor can discharge much faster than an ordinary battery. this is my opinion alot of people disagree but from my experiance it never huts again only if you have a proper electricle system always always always upgrade you wire alternator and you battery first.

also you need a good battery under the hood not a crappy walmart batter but like a red top or an interstate

ok i getcha i need another alternator anyways....but this is a guy that has 3 alternators and 3 batterys, 8 rockford fasgate 12.....and god knows how many amps. the questions is how do u hook up more alternators to your engine?? or do u have to im trying to figure out how this crap works

first of just get a high output alternator i dont think you have the coin to go multiple alt setup hell i dont lol

ya you can put as many alternators on as you have room and your motor has power to run. it takes alot of work alot of mechinical knowledge and major cash.

how hard is it to upgrade the "big 3". i wanna upgrade my alt soon, probably a 200A one from this place Justin showed me, but i need to first, buy and install it (hopefully its not a complete pain in the ass), then upgrade the wiring. But how hard is doing it all? And ive had to buy a new battery a few months ago, and ended up getting the next best one they had under the optima ( i think its like a gold duralast or somthin, ill check later) is this battery even worth keeping or should i get an optima? Any thoughts....this is all going in a 2000 2.4L cavalier
