Space in between MDF baffle and door

Hey guys. Well in between my MDF baffle for my speaker, and my door, there are a couple spots with a little space. I'm not sure how essential it is to get these plugged up, but I would imagine it is best to. My quesiton is what kind of material can I use to do this?

My first thought was resin but I know there is a less messy way. My second idea was someting like clay and play-doh, but how would I get those to stay with swing in temperatures and such, it seems like it might fall off or something.

So any ideas guys? Or do I even need to? Thanks a lot.

great stuff works good spray it in it foams up cut it off that simple.

Yup, get the non expanding Great Stuff, available at your local Lwoes or Home Depot for about $5 a can. That, or if is just small slits, some silicone sealant.

if it isnt to bad you can use some sound deadening mat and sandwich it in there.

When I replaced my components I had to use a mounting ring to allow more room for the magnet. Is that what you are talking about? Anyway, I just used the leftover silicone sealant to fill the gaps and it seems to have worked well.

yeah kevin that's what I'm talking about. And I actually have a bunch of Great Stuff sitting around so that will work perfect and be free. Thanks guys.
